Did you know that a legacy gift helped create The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center? Businessman Monroe Dunaway Anderson established the MD Anderson Foundation to give back to the community that had contributed to his success. After his death, the foundation matched funding from the Texas Legislature to open the state’s first cancer hospital, named in his memory. Since then, estate gifts from legacy gift donors have helped us lead the way in cancer research and care.

If you are considering a gift in your will to MD Anderson, now is a great time to let us know.

Between now and Aug. 31, 2023 if you confirm your legacy gift amount by Aug. 31, an anonymous group of forward-thinking donors will match 10% of your intended gift amount — up to $10,000, while funds last.
